Emily Boucher
Emily Boucher is an emerging writer who enjoys exploring the intersection of storytelling, nerd culture, and mental health. Drawing on her own live experiences, she writes about how stories—from Tolkien to Marvel Comics—can help us make sense of anxiety, grief, and the complicated process of healing. When she’s not writing, Emily enjoys snuggling with her pit bull and spending time with her partner & friends.

Lorri Willette-Thatcher
Native Adirondacker, Lorri Willett-Thatcher has been a teacher for most of her life. As a wife and mother to 3 grown children, she has shared her love of the outdoors and nature with her family. Lorri loves camping, hiking, and kayaking in the Adirondacks. She’s a sucker for a gurgling stream, and quiet, hidden gems. You can find her looking for moose and staring up at the stars. Lorri has a blog called “The Opposite of Stuck” on Medium and is currently writing a historical novel set in the Tupper Lake area in the early 1900s.

Brian is a certified personal trainer, coach, mentor, and writer. He lives in Plattsburgh, New York, and has contributed to Adirondack Life, BoatUS, and other magazines. He is an avid surfer, a visually impaired athlete who dreams of one day driving a Zamboni.

Amy Guglielmo
Amy Guglielmo a local author, educator, artist, and community arts advocate. She’s written over twenty children’s book titles, including LIKE A RAINBOW: The Colorful Story of Cyndi Lauper and the WHAT THE ARTIST SAW series with The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She is the co-founder of Outside Art: Plattsburgh Public Art Project.

A Plattsburgh native, Jennifer has enjoyed sharing her passion for literature with hundreds of students she has worked with in her twenty-five plus years as an English teacher. She truly believes that reading and writing empower people, as language is the basis of human interaction and innovation. When she’s not reading or writing, Jennifer enjoys hiking, live music, and savoring sunsets with her family and friends.
